We tried this wine on the cruise ship in January of this year and couldn't have enough, so we brought 3 bottles home.
    The original TN's were:
straw like color, multilayered honey dew, citrus and prolonged finish.

    Yesterday's TN:
cognac like color, subdued nose and lack of multi dimensional characters and short finish.
The wine was stored at 56F for less than a year!

    What went wrong, guys?

Sounds like oxidation. Open another bottle and see what that is like.

Peter, that was the LAST bottle, the last one we had was about 7 months ago....and it was prefect.

Yes. But just because one wine bottle is good, doesn't mean another one will bet he same. Try opening multiple bottles of thesame wine at the same time and tasting them. There is considerable bottle variation.

Your description of the colour and taste sound to me like oxidation.

We had a tasting a few weeks ago where one bottle (we opened two) was like that.

Each bottle of wine is unique. You can't taste the same wine twice (uless its from the same bottle).
