People shouldn't blog after two glasses of wine.

    People

    Please, not us vs. them.

WB is a great source for some stuff...I posted a lot there. Then, in February, I stopped. I stopped for one very simple reason...it was no longer fun to post there, for me.

For others, experiences could be different. I became privy to the inner workings of what went on there. In the end, many of the inner circle there did not appreciate the content I provided, so I stopped providing it. Of course, it was not said in such a diplomatic fashion to me, but it was made clear, nevertheless.

No regrets. This was not in the works, but an opportunity presented itself to me and some other folks. We waited on it, and decided it was a go after Parker tore down his board.

Anyways, I still have lots of friends on WB, and many, almost daily, for nearly 3 months, have asked me to come back and post...so I have...just not there.

+1. We are all welcome to post there and missed. They are also welcome to post here. We are friends, not competitors we just love wine.

I must admit, I haven't logged into wb for some days now...

Why do we need another board comments are HILARIOUS. What's funny is that WT, although sure to be painted with misunderstood brushes at first... should prove to be a canvas for educated wine discourse and less BS.

Why? Just a hunch. I've already had my hand slapped here... but for legitimate reasons... the mods seem passionate about keeping the focus.

And that's the big diff. I think you'll see better talk, less personal attacks, and mods NOT on a power trip.

I have no dogs in this race. I have a cat, but the dude doesn't listen to me and is unrelated.

Thanks Shaun. The main focus here is wine knowledge and that will remain the main purpose for this boards existence. Enjoy!

Jack, very well said and I concur with your observation. It is not a competition, just another outlet to discuss our wine addiction, errr, I mean love for wine.
